Your true nature

In recognising your true nature you live your life in alignment with your true values.

The more you align with this truth the more your true nature is allowed to surface - you remove and exclude that which does not serve and start to resonate with and become that which you seek

Just as the wheel of samsara keeps some trapped in suffering, the merry-go-round of liberation has a snowball effect as it spins you in the direction of your true nature.

Finding Truth in Answers

The more eternal the silence, the greater the Truth.

The seeking mind cannot find rest, it is the un-seeking Being that resides in Truth

The answers we find in books and talks may fill a gap, but it has always been the resonance of Truth that we seek... that which may manifest outside, but resonates with the sacred within.

Reality or Illusion - What is Illusion?

An interesting change is the perceprion shift from illusion to reality. The stronger your desire for Truth, the more you are drawn to find that for which your soul yearns - that which you truly seek...

Matched step for step, as you appraoch reality it moves towards you...

In the end you see that there was only Truth all along.

Perfection is all there is.

Finding some Cape Town coffee Inspiration

So lately I have found myself delving deeper into the world of coffee and flavour - something about sitting down alone with nothing in front of you but something to drink. I find that the longer I sit, the more my mind empties and  the deeper my inspiration.

Finding the right place to sit in Cape Town city bowl is an art - especially when a real cup of coffee is required AND you feel like parking within 5km of your chosen destination ;)

With this in mind I sometimes perform self-caffienation at home. I have a grinder to get maximum flavour and freshness from unground beans. Choice of extraction method is as varied as ever:
Try drip, mokka pot or aeropress

As for beans - I recently received a gift from a friend who has started up Kamili Coffee in the City Bowl - and my bag of El Salvador is nothing short of awesome :)

While yoga is a great practice to strenghten the body and retain or regain flexibility, these are only physical aspects and many of the keys to a happy life transcend the physical...

When I look at you...

It has been quite some time since I felt inspired to find a new little character and pen a few words...

With this post I would like to share the concept that we ALL have the ability to gift or uplift with the light of our being. It is easy to worry or drop into fear, but as human beings we have the power to elevate our thoughts and consciousness to something far more efficient. Light is productive, love uplifts and transforms...

Hold someone in your light, hold them in your love and you transcend space and time. Release any attachment to an outsome and let the superconsciousness of your Being take care of the rest.

You have, no, you are light and this light is an unfathomably powerfull gift. When you are ready to open your heart then you know you are ready to use it.

In a world where freedom is a world that has very little meaning it is interesting to see how many people associate the word free with financial connotations.

If you are not totally and completely free then what are you?

What constrains you?

What limits you?

What holds you back?

Identify and then overcome. You were born free and it is your destiny to live totally and absolutely free.

Trust

Many search in possessions for security from the instability and change in this little world of ours.

Some lay their hopes in money and investments.

Others believe that their employment will provide stability.

But there is a power beyond the fears of man, a force that transcends the limitations of the mind, a knowing that understands not the limitations of logic...

TRUST

is something you find within and when you invite it into your life it has the ability to enliven and awaken not just your Self, but the entire world around you.

Trust in yourself, trust in something greater than yourself and know that anything you imagine can be.

Dream

Most people do not know what they want...

Days are spent existing, and when next eyes open a lifetime of memories has drifted by.

But if you find a dream, a dream worth living for, a dream worth dying for.... surrender, and in its embrace let life carry you into those unknown places where only poets, lovers and children dare.

Believe

Life is a vast spectrum of experience, most of which mankind has relegated to a small space within the limitations of the physical.

Experiences there are; waiting to expose you to the majesty of life's domain. Death and pain, ecstasy and divinity are waiting for you around every corner, but until they find you you need only believe in your divine nature - for with time it is all you shall become

Truth

For some it is what they seek,

for others it is what they speak,

but sometimes, when life opens up to you,

when She deems you worthy of her embrace...

Love enters your heart and Truth is what happens to everything in and around you.


We yearn for this awakening and strangely enough it is ourselves who expend vast amounts of energy denying and avoiding the experience.

When you are ready, when you give yourself permission, it is Truth that is waiting for you.

I am fast learning that sublimation printing is not for the faint of heart. Simple images on a monitor can come out very differently when printed.

Words of Worlds

In any language there are important words...

What is interesting is that often some of these are overshadowed in a society dominated by economic and political agendas.

Why not take some time to think about the truly important words in your life. The words you invest your time and energy into.

A simple word rolling off the tongue brings into your reality an entire world of concepts, energy and ultimately manifestation. Subtle at first, but time and repetition have an interesting way of sneaking up on one...
