As a newling to the world of writing and illustrating it is an interesting experience to go through the ups and downs of learning and slowly improving. I do not feel that my confidence has grown much, but it is a wonderful experience to doubt less.

As of today Little Human Being has 92 facebook supporters. Eight more and we are into triple digits. whoop whoop... :)

The good news is that before the end of the year Little Human Being will be well into the quadruple digit range - yes - over 1001 facebook "likers"

Piket-Bo-Berg, West Coast, South Africa

Piketberg is a little town just over an hour north of Cape Town, South Africa. Piket-bo-Berg is an intimate farming community on top of the mountain behind Piketberg (Piquet).

It is here that I find myself illustrating and writing as I wait for life to reveal her next amazing adventure.

For now the mountain is my home. Slowly I find myself adjusting to the tranquility that only nature can share - the rains are here and the vegetable garden is resting till springtime. To compensate, the orange trees are hanging heavy and the winter fynbos flowers are appearing everywhere.

Little Human Being is growing nicely and I wish I had more time to implement all the ideas swirling around inside of me...

Beyond the Mind

There is something that happens when you move beyond the limitations of the intellect. The mind is a simple creature limited by logic and reason, but there are many more facets to our experience of reality.

Where the mind fears to tread is the domain of faith and trust. How can belief be magical if based within a pentagon of senses.

Even an open mind can only but fail to comprehend love, but through our mythologies and parables little human beings have a key hole through which to conceptualize creation.

Keep knocking and with time revelations reveal themselves...

Some have conceptualized death into an occurrence when when a body takes its last breath, but the day a man stops dreaming for himself and his people, what is he living for?

Monsterous Encounters - The Little Failure Monster

Failure always leaves a bitter taste in ones mouth.

A nasty, horned little critter, the failure monster is always waiting to feed on people's success.

Sometimes you are aware of the fact that the little failure monster is following you, but more often that not this monster is silently stalking you in the shadows, waiting to appear without warning and steal your dreams and success.

Despite all the fear based hype surrounding this adversary, failure is actually an awesome adversary. While many have encountered the failure monster and come off second best there are many more little human beings just like yourself who have gone the distance and ended up at a place called...

TRIUMPH!

The failure monster enters your life to strengthen you. Once conquered this monster gifts learning, wisdom and fortitude. It is only those that avoid challenges, growth, betterment that never see the possibility of failure before them.

The greater the challenges you engage, the larger the failure monster becomes. The larger the possibility of failure that you conquer, the greater your reward.

You can accomplish more than you can ever dream. Know this, and when you next see the failure monster know that this little monster is simply a sign that you are aspiring to ever increasing heights.

With the truth at your side no little monster stands a chance.

NEW Monsterous Encounter - Coming Friday

This Friday we launch the first an entirely new set of MONSTEROUS ENCOUNTERS...

For the uninitiated, for the unexposed, Monsterous Encounters is where human beings get to encounter some of the most fearsome beasts and monsters up close and personal without endangering their current incarnation status.

This new, upgraded series of Monsterous Encounters shall be quite aptly launched with an encounter with the LITTLE FAILURE  MONSTER - a monster that has been lurking around Little Human Being since we launched in February this year. I am proud to announce that the new super cool, amazingly stylish Monsterous Encounters will put an end to any chance of failure that may be lurking in the shadows.
