As human beings in this 21st century we are required to remember thousands of millions of things. Facts, numbers, work related info, hobby stuff, rules of sports, computer jargon, tax requirements, rules of the road, rules of social engagement, birthdays, people's names, passwords, pin codes.... the list is not never-ending, it is ever growing!

It comes as no surprise that many have forgotten the simple beauty that resides, not on a TV screen or the glossy pages of a magazine, but rather, in the heart.

The simple beauty that resonates within each and every human being, the same light that resides in all life.

Time in the Wilderness

No matter who or where you are there will come a time when you enter the wilderness.

Within yourself you will encounter a desert. No matter how plentiful or abundant your outer reality is, your inner space empties and becomes barren.

This is not a punishment or because you have done something wrong, this is a natural cycle that when embraced leads a person to their next inner destination.

Just as nature follows the flow of the seasons from abundance in summer and spring to times of scarcity in winter, so too do we human beings sometimes encounter times when the wilderness of the desert descends.

Remember that this is only a flow and that newness is ever on the horizon. Embrace the tough times in your life and know that they will soon dissolve into the past.
