Time in the Wilderness

No matter who or where you are there will come a time when you enter the wilderness.

Within yourself you will encounter a desert. No matter how plentiful or abundant your outer reality is, your inner space empties and becomes barren.

This is not a punishment or because you have done something wrong, this is a natural cycle that when embraced leads a person to their next inner destination.

Just as nature follows the flow of the seasons from abundance in summer and spring to times of scarcity in winter, so too do we human beings sometimes encounter times when the wilderness of the desert descends.

Remember that this is only a flow and that newness is ever on the horizon. Embrace the tough times in your life and know that they will soon dissolve into the past.
