Spending time in nature has a way of connecting, calming and balancing the soul. Men have created a world filled with needs, some of them are real while some of them are purely imaginary.

Trees, birds, flowers and bees...  all of them exist harmoniously within the web of creation. Moment to moment they watch the perfection of existence unfold within and around their world.

Spend some time with a tree or a bee and see if you can absorb into your life some of natures wisdom.

What are our bodies made from?

The Little Sage: Your body is a physical manifestation into which you incarnate. This physical matter is a substance most cosmically magical. Where is it made? Where does liquid and solid physical matter come from?

These building blocks of the physical are put together by the universe in super factories that build more complex little pieces of matter. We call these factories suns or stars.

Yes, it is true. Your body is made from matter that was forged by a star...

When a star explodes its star dust is spread across the universe and over time we human beings have become proficient at using this matter to grow our bodies.

 Yes, its true, we are all made of stars...

The Little Sage

Where have all the wise old sages gone?
Where are the wise leaders who can teach and lead from the heart?
Are there any wisdom keepers who can lead humanity into happiness?

Maybe we should all follow politicians? Great orators who have dedicated their lives to serving their country, maintaining world peace and spreading joy in the world.
Maybe the great corporate machines have our best interests at heart. Creating products aimed at ending suffering, housing the poor and uplifting all of mankind. Surely their great power is not only aimed at maximizing profit?
Maybe we can find these great sages in books? Maybe they have receded into cyberspace? Maybe they have returned to their mountain retreats high in the Himalayas, deep in the jungles far far away.

Where do you find your wisdom?
Where do you find your truth?

Does it come form a book?
Does it come from another person?

The Web of Life

As the weekend approaches and we get ready to take a break from work and its responsibilities, a little spider has come to share his little bit of wisdom with us...

The web of life is the interconnectedness of all in existence. Just like a spider's web which is made up of many individual strands. Individually useless,  but together they form a functional, beautiful unit. Remove, harm or break even one strand and the web begins to lose functionality.

If we damage or destroy many aspects of our little web of life we may end up with a web that no longer serves us as human beings.

Spiders have the ability to weave new webs when needed, but despite this gift they tend and care for their creation with care, attention and love.
