The Little Leaf Mind Altering Interview

*Please be warned that Mind Altering Interviews may endow readers with a totally new magical perception of reality

This morning our special guest on the Mind Altering Interview is:

A Little Leaf

Little Human Being - LHB: Greetings to our listeners and readers across the planet. Today we welcome the Little Leaf to the Little Human Being studios

The Little Leaf - TLL: Hello Everybody...

LHB: Little Leaf, what is it that makes a simple little leaf so interview worthy?

TLL: Well, that is simple, we leaves have an intracellular relationship with the stars.

LHB: Now I've heard it all. Are you trying to tell me that those simple green things that fall off trees every day are cosmically significant?

TLL: Yes

LHB: I have encountered of delusions of grandeur, but it is not often that pre-composted organic matter loses touch with its arboreal roots. Please explain...
TLL: The closest star to our little planet is commonly know as the sun. This relatively small star releases huge amounts of energy every second of every day. Some people believe that the sun provides the energy for all life. This is true, but what they forget is that without us leaves this energy would only be good for tanning and making deserts like the Sahara and Kalahari.

LHB: How do you leaves do this?

TLL: Within our cells we convert the energy radiated by stars from light energy to a solid state. This energy forms the foundation of the food chain that maintains all life.

LHB: That is all good and well, leaves are interesting and can convert energy, but this is not a gardening blog - how do human beings fit into this picture?

TLL: Other than the fact that we sustain all humans beings that eat food, we have a more direct relationship with you guys and girls. Your every inhalation is maintained and balanced by the inhalation of the plant kingdom. The exhalation of each and every human being is balanced by the exhalation of each and every leaf in the plant kingdom.

LHB:  Are you trying to imply that we can breathe leaves?

TLL: Not quite. Human beings actually inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. We leaves form an interwoven relationship with humanity by inhaling your CO2 and exhaling oxygen...

LHB: ...and the energy that makes this relationship possible is provided by the stars circling us out there in the universe.

TLL: (smile... )

LHB: Who would have thought that each little human being is energetically united with the stars by the existence of a few simple leaves.

TLL:  :)

LHB: That is amazing. I see thousands of leaves every day, but not once have I stopped to witness the magic that was right before my eyes.

TLL: Stars, leaves, little human beings and life - all co-existing together.

LHB: Little leaf, before we compost you, how can we thank you for sharing your micro-wisdom with us today?

TLL: Plant a tree and you will see :)

LHB: So, next time you notice a little leaf hanging on a tree take some time to acknowledge your intracellular relationship with the magical stars that make up our little universe.

We are all united...

Join us next week for another mind altering interview.

Monsterous Encounters - The Little Doubt Monster

*Please note that some of the terrifying scenes in the post may be offensive to sensitive viewers.

Doubt is a monster most foul.

A fanged shaggy beast that preys on the insecurities of fun loving human beings the planet over.

The Little Doubt Monster waits until you are out of your comfort zone. This monster waits until you are engaged in a new project or are doing something that really really matters in your life and then it starts to share its doubt-filled vibes with you.

What if I fail?
What if I am not good enough?
What if I am too fat?
What if I am too skinny?
What if I am too good looking?
Maybe I am not as amazing as everybody thinks I am?

These are the types of questions that the Little Doubt Monster feeds upon daily as it runs wild in our streets...
The Little Monster of Doubt likes to remind you of past failures or fears and then uses your insecurities to limit your awesomeness.

But let it be know that the past is behind you and anything that you can imagine can be brought into manifestation. You are a child of the Universe and it will take a lot more than a Little Doubt Monster to stop you living your dreams.
So, next time you hear a little monster whispering words of doubt into your ear take a stand. Grab the little critter, place him on the ground, lift your foot and

CRUNCH !!!
The truth is that you are more amazing than you could ever imagine and there is no need to ever doubt yourself.

Doubt does not serve. Trust in yourself and let nothing stand in the way of your dreams.

With the truth at your side no little monster stands a chance.

This BLOG post was fully supervised by the SPCM (Society for the Prevention  of Cruelty to Monsters) and NO monsters were harmed during the drawing of any of these little pictures.

Thank you for sharing and showing support :)

Friday's Monsterous Encounter - The Little Anger Monster

This week on Friday's Monsterous Encounter we come up against the Little Monster of Anger.

Anger is a fire breathing monster that we all have encountered.

Sharp long claws, many beeeeeg teeth and a rather nasty temperament.

Hidden behind the veils of false smiles and the inability to say "NO," we encounter this terrifying little beast.

What few people know is that the Little Anger Monster is a pack animal. Usually it takes the culmination of a few unforeseen incidents for this monster to awaken. Take a few little irritating incidents, add them together over an extended period of time, throw in yet another long queue at the bank with an incompetent bank teller and suddenly ***WHAM***

The little anger monster is on the scene - with all his friends

So, how do we rid ourselves of this menace? Anger is the opposite of peace, balance and harmony. If love strengthens the anger weakens.

Since anger is a pack animal it usually takes a mulit-faceted approach to defeat it. There are many recipes on sites across the internet for getting rid of the Little Anger Monster, below is a common and easy one:

Recipe for Peace and Happiness:

Next time you head to the mall for some retail therapy invest in the following:

A lifetime of happy days with friends and family
A smile for each day of the week
Enough forgiveness to embrace all of your memories
A slab of good chocolate at least once a week - NB
A warm hug for each special person in your life.
At least 3 doses of exercise a week.
A willingness to adapt and change,
and last, but not least, the ability to say "Thank YOU" from the heart..

With the following recipe you will discover that anger is not such a big monster. It is your inability to forgive yourself afterwards that is the real problem.

Embrace forgiveness, release your anger, open your heart, awaken your love and share your magic with the world.

With the truth at your side no little monster stands a chance.

Wild Life

There was a time when survival on this little planet of ours was quite a different experience.

Little human beings regularly encountered wild animals and over thousands of years we managed to live within the balance of nature.

Animals big and small, we all lived together.

Recently things have changed...

I wonder where all the wild animals are now?

Little Tuesday Q&A - What is a Philosopher?

The Little Sage is back to answer another question on

Little Tuesday Q&A
big questions for a little planet

Today's question is:
What is a Phiosopher?

The Little Sage: Philosophers are very very interesting things.

Philosophers are just like normal people except they spend all their time thinking about deep stuff. They ask the heavyest questions know to humanity and then spend decades celebrating the unanswerability of their creations.

Philosophers use their minds to explore the realms of both man and unmanifest. With their great intellect they attempt to uncover the realms of seen and unseen.

As a simple old sage of simple means I do not have all the answers, but I have found that no matter how great a mind may be it is the quality of his heart that measures a man.

We have many great minds on our planet, maybe what humanity truly needs is a few more great hearts - just like yours...

Sunday's Mind Altering Interview - The Little Dancer

This morning our special guest for the Sunday Interview on the ever popular Little Human Being Blog is:

The Little Dancer

Little Human Being - LHB: Good afternoon Little Dancer and welcome to the Little Human Being studios

The Little Dancer - TLD: Hello

LHB: You are yet another amazing Little Character from one of those short little stories that Reine has written. Do you know why not one of these stories is available online or in print for everyone to enjoy?

TLD: I think it is one of those timing things. You know the saying, "when the student is ready, the pencil appears."

LHB: OK, I will wait for my pencil to appear. Until then, what is the name of your story?

TLD: The Little Dancer and the music within.

LHB: Tell as more...

TLD: Some say life is a journey, but I find life to be a dance. An ever unfolding experience of movement, interactions, rhythm and joy. People are always looking for results and end goals, but when you dance then the act of dancing is the result you seek. Dancing in the moment is the destination.

LHB: Any specific style?

TLD: Any. All that is needed is movement and flow coupled to rhythm. Most people dance to music, but if you listen carefully you will hear the rhythm and the flow that originates within. Once you find that inner-rhythm every day of your life becomes a dance.

LHB: Did you discover your love for dancing through some deep mystical experience?

TLD: My love for dancing just made sense. It was more of an effortless realization. I love dancing, so why not spend the rest of my life following my passion.

LHB: That is an interesting word "passion." What advise would you have for our readers who are searching for passion in their lives?

TLD: Each and every little human being is different, but I have found that every single person knows what their passion is. You know what you love doing, you know what you would love to do every day, you already know where your passion lies. Where most people struggle is when it comes to following their passion.

LHB: Why would someone not follow their passion?

TLD: That is a good question. I think it has something to do with limiting belief systems. People seems to spend a lot of energy limiting themselves and telling themselves that things are difficult or impossible.

LHB: You are saying that life is a dance and nothing is impossible?

TLD: No, I am saying that life is a dance and anything is possible.

LHB: (smile)
LHB: If dancing is your passion, why does it look like you are running in the photograph above?

TLD: It is so hard to find a good photographer these days, but I assure you that I am dancing my heart out.

LHB: Little Dancer, on behalf of Little Human Being and our thousands of readers worldwide I would like to thank you for sharing your melodious micro-wisdom with us today.

TLD: (smile...)

Join us next week Sunday for another mind altering interview.
